5th Annual COOL Golf Outing a Success

We extend our sincere gratitude to the sponsors and participants of our 5th Annual Golf Outing held on June 6th at Steeple Chase Golf Club in Mundelein. Although play was delayed due to inclement weather, 69 golfers enjoyed a full, albeit, steamy day of golf, lunch and fellowship, raising over $5,500 in support of the COOL Transitional
Housing Program.

Heartfelt thanks to Jerry Mizera of Walgreens, and a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Waukegan, for giving of his time and resources to organize this annual fundraiser and ensure that every player went home with a prize. Jerry’s passion for the game and belief in the program have helped to grow this event a little more each year and shine a light on the work of COOL and the families who benefit rom this ministry.

Thanks, also, to all of our prize donors and tee sponsors including Walgreens, Rink Side Sports of Gurnee, City of Waukegan, Perfetti Sales & Marketing,
