Volunteer Opportunities | Volunteer Corner

Volunteer Help Wanted

Transitional Housing needs volunteers for the following:

  • Furniture Pick Up Team: 2 or 3 persons needed to pick up furniture donations one day a month using the COOL Truck.
  • Back-up person needed for small repairs in Transitional Housing units when our regular maintenance volunteer is not available.

Pantry Volunteer I:
Assist Pantry staff with sorting, packaging, and distributing food to visitors.

Pantry Volunteer II:
Assist Pantry staff with unloading truck, moving boxes, and general support for large pick-ups and deliveries. Heavy lifting is required. Times vary.

Unit Prep Crew:
Individuals or groups to assist in preparing housing units for new guests. Times vary based on need. Tasks include cleaning and painting units, lawn care and minor repairs.
